We are thrilled to have recently reached a big milestone for the Grab’em in the Brisket BBQ
Podcast. On July 10, 2024, we celebrated our 5th anniversary! Five years of smoky conversations, delicious recipes, expert interviews, and a shared passion for all things barbecue.
A Journey Through Smoke and Flame
It all started when we were standing around a smoker, drinking beer and BSing like we always have. Then James said “We should record this and make it a podcast!” After about 20 minutes of James explaining what a podcast was, we were on board! Jon showed up a few days later with microphones and a recorder. From there it has grown into a killer community of BBQ lovers. Over the past five years, we’ve released over 260 episodes, covering everything from the best BBQ joints to competition tips and beer reviews. Our journey has taken us to BBQ festivals, into the kitchens of renowned pitmasters, and through countless BBQ fails and wins shared by you, our loyal listeners.
And if anyone is keeping track, we’ve reviewed over 200 beers!
